L&T Secures Mega Power Transmission Contracts Worth ₹10,000–15,000 Crore in India, Saudi Arabia and UAE

Mumbai, October 8, 2026: Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured multiple engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts valued between ₹10,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore across India, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The contracts, announced on October 5, 2026, were awarded to the company's Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business and are aimed at strengthening electricity networks and facilitating renewable energy integration.

In Saudi Arabia, L&T has secured orders for 380 kV transmission lines and substations. These projects will enhance grid capacity, support renewable energy evacuation and improve the Kingdom's power transmission infrastructure.

In the UAE, the company will construct 132/11 kV substations along with associated cabling infrastructure to strengthen electricity distribution networks.

In India, L&T has received an order from a leading private-sector developer to establish a transmission system comprising transmission lines and substations in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The contracts highlight growing investments in electricity infrastructure across the three markets, driven by rising power demand and renewable energy expansion.

The latest awards further strengthen L&T's international EPC portfolio and reinforce its position in large-scale power transmission and distribution infrastructure development.
