Trentar’s ₹30,000 Crore Maharashtra Data Centre Park Opens Major Supplier Opportunities

Trentar Private Limited, the technology and infrastructure arm of Dorf Ketal, is reportedly planning an investment of approximately ₹30,000 crore to develop a 500 MW green integrated hyperscale data centre park in Maharashtra.

The proposed development could emerge as one of India’s larger hyperscale data centre projects, supported by rising demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence, digital services and high-density computing infrastructure. The project is also expected to place strong emphasis on energy efficiency and green power integration.

For suppliers and contractors, the proposed 500 MW campus could create significant opportunities across multiple packages. Potential areas include civil construction, structural works, electrical systems, high-voltage substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, backup power, busways, cabling and power-distribution infrastructure.

Large opportunities could also emerge in cooling and thermal-management systems, including chillers, cooling towers, liquid-cooling solutions, pumps and HVAC equipment. Data centre technology vendors may find opportunities in servers, racks, networking equipment, fibre-optic systems, cybersecurity, building management systems, DCIM platforms and fire detection and suppression systems.

The project’s green positioning could additionally generate demand for renewable power procurement, captive or hybrid renewable-energy solutions, battery energy storage systems, energy-management technologies and associated transmission infrastructure.

Water-treatment systems, security solutions, facility management, testing and commissioning services, engineering consultancy and long-term operations and maintenance could represent further addressable markets.
