India's project and infrastructure market recorded a strong week of contract activity during 24–30 August 2026, with major disclosed awards collectively valued at approximately ₹10,011 crore across power transmission, renewable energy, industrial EPC, infrastructure, cables and electrical equipment.
The week's largest award went to Adani Energy Solutions, which secured a contract worth approximately ₹4,700 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company (MSETCL) for transmission infrastructure supporting renewable energy and pumped-storage evacuation.
Capacit'e Infraprojects received a ₹1,320 crore EPC award from NBCC for a residential development in Greater Noida, while Waaree Renewable Technologies secured a ₹990.60 crore turnkey solar EPC order for a 980 MWp project.
Solar and renewable-energy contracting remained particularly active. ArMee Infotech received contracts worth approximately ₹741 crore from Bondada Engineering for balance-of-system works at the Fatehgarh solar project, while Bondada itself secured a ₹465 crore solar EPC award from MAHAGENCO.
Industrial activity was also notable, with Afcons Infrastructure receiving an approximately ₹700 crore order from Reliance Industries for works associated with its Vinyl Projects at Dahej.
Other awards during the week covered transformers, EHV transmission systems, HT/LT cables, highways and urban infrastructure, highlighting continued procurement momentum across India's core infrastructure and industrial sectors.
