Ultraviolette Eyes 1,000 Monthly Vehicle Sales by End-2026, to Scale Capacity to 1.5 Lakh Units.

Premium electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive is stepping up its expansion plans, targeting monthly sales of 1,000 units by the end of 2026 as it prepares for its next phase of growth ahead of a planned initial public offering (IPO) and the commercial launch of its electric scooter, Tesseract.

In an interaction with businessline, Narayan Subramaniam, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said the company is gearing up to begin the second phase of its manufacturing facility, which will raise annual production capacity to 1.5 lakh vehicles from the current 50,000-60,000 units.

"The current facility is designed for about 50,000-60,000 vehicles annually. Phase two will take us to 1.5 lakh units a year, largely in preparation for scaling up our scooter portfolio," Subramaniam said.
