Tata Projects to build Noida International Airport.

The Yamuna International Airport has partnered with Tata Projects Ltd. to oversee the construction and execution of an airport in Noida.

The contract includes construction of a runway, terminals, roads, utilities, airside infrastructure and other ancillary buildings at Noida International Airport.

The Tata group’s infrastructure and construction arm scored higher than its rivals Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Shapoorji Pallonji under the quality and cost-based selection criteria followed for the selection process.

The first phase of Noida Airport is likely to be ready in the next two years reported TOI. This will be the Tata Project's second airport project after the Prayagraj (Allahabad) airport terminal.

“We are proud to be entrusted the EPC works for the greenfield Noida International Airport at Jewar. Tata Projects will work closely with YIAPL to deliver India’s most advanced and environment friendly airport on time. We shall deploy the latest technologies in its construction, while meeting the standards of quality, safety, and sustainability,” TOI quoted Tata Projects CEO & MD-designate Vinayak Pai as saying.
