Spark Minda to Set Up Two Manufacturing Units in YEIDA with ₹1,166 Crore Investment.

Auto components maker Spark Minda recently announced plans to invest ₹1,166 crore in setting up two new manufacturing units in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region of Uttar Pradesh.

The ground-breaking ceremony for the two facilities, located in Sector 10 and Sector 24 of YEIDA, was held virtually in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the sidelines of the UP-Japan Investment Meet 2026 in the capital, the company said in a statement.

The new facilities will add to Spark Minda’s existing manufacturing footprint in the region. Its security systems, die-casting and wiring harness plants in Noida and Greater Noida already form a significant part of the company’s manufacturing operations in India.

The investment comes as Spark Minda expands its manufacturing capabilities to support growing demand from the automotive industry and strengthen its presence in Uttar Pradesh.
