The Odisha government recently approved 20 mega investment proposals worth ₹76,612 crore, a move expected to generate employment opportunities for more than 50,000 people across the state.

The proposals received clearance at a meeting of the High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

The approved projects span multiple sectors and are aimed at strengthening Odisha’s industrial base while accelerating economic growth and job creation.

“With progressive policies, robust infrastructure, and a strong commitment to ease of doing business, Odisha continues to attract investments across both emerging and core sectors. These projects will contribute significantly to employment generation, industrial diversification, and inclusive economic growth,” Majhi said.

The latest approvals underscore Odisha’s efforts to position itself as a preferred investment destination by leveraging policy support, infrastructure development and industry-friendly reforms. The projects are expected to boost industrial activity, attract further investments and create substantial employment opportunities in the coming years.
