Maharashtra Eyes Global Ice Cream Hub Status with Magnum’s ₹900-Crore Investment

Devendra Fadnavis recently welcomed The Magnum Ice Cream Company’s plans to expand its global operations in Maharashtra, including the establishment of a ₹900-crore Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune and a regional headquarters in Mumbai for its Middle East, Turkey and South Asia businesses.

The development follows a meeting between the Maharashtra Chief Minister and Peter ter Kulve, CEO of The Magnum Ice Cream Company, in Mumbai. In a social media post, Fadnavis said discussions focused on setting up the Mumbai headquarters, the Pune GCC, India growth plans, and broader areas of future collaboration between the company and the state government.
