Inox Wind Secures MoU with Inox Clean for 1,500 MW Wind Energy Capacity.
Inox Wind Ltd (IWL) recently said it has signed an initial agreement with Inox Clean Energy for the supply of 1,500 MW of wind turbines.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Inox Wind will supply its 3.3 MW and 4.X MW turbine models for renewable energy projects being developed by Inox Clean Energy across India, the company said in a statement.
The pact strengthens Inox Wind’s visibility on future orders and expands its presence in the domestic wind energy market amid rising demand for renewable power capacity additions.
Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind, said the company currently has a robust order book of 3.1 GW, and that the latest MoU takes the total pipeline beyond 4.5 GW, providing revenue visibility for the coming years.
“With this new MoU, our order book crosses 4.5 GW, which covers us for the next few years,” Agarwal said.
The agreement comes as India continues to scale up renewable energy installations, with wind power remaining a key component of the country’s clean energy transition strategy.
