Cyient DLM Inaugurates Precision Machining Facility, Triggers Rise in Shares
Cyient DLM Ltd. experienced a 5.58 percent surge in its shares following the inauguration of a cutting-edge precision machining facility in Bangalore. The facility, initially equipped with a capacity of 60,000 hours per annum, is designed for a threefold expansion, with plans to reach an annual capacity of 180,000 hours by incorporating 20 machines.
Specializing in CNC machining for Aviation, Space, and Ground control applications, Cyient DLM's Precision Machining facility focuses on the production of structural components, engine components, avionics packages, and space components. Covering an expansive 36,000 sq ft manufacturing area, the facility has the potential to scale up to accommodate 250 employees, indirectly providing employment opportunities for approximately 600 individuals.
Krishna Bodanapu, Executive Vice-Chairman & Managing Director of Cyient, expressed excitement about Cyient DLM's growth trajectory, considering the new facility in Bengaluru as the inaugural step in their strategic expansion plan as an independent entity.
