Amazon India Signs Agreement with Telangana Govt for Ashray Centre Network Expansion.

Amazon India recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government to establish five Ashray centres in high-footfall areas across Hyderabad.

Under the agreement, the Telangana government, through the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, will assist in identifying suitable locations, facilitate necessary approvals and provide administrative coordination for setting up the centres, according to a company release.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening community infrastructure and improving access to shelter and support services in the city.

“This partnership reflects a shared commitment between Amazon and the state government to strengthen community infrastructure and expand access to shelter and support services in the region,” the release said.

The collaboration is expected to support the development of public-focused facilities in key locations across Hyderabad while enhancing social infrastructure in the region.
