The Adani Group and US-based manufacturing services company Jabil Inc have announced plans to form a strategic alliance to develop a large-scale artificial intelligence and data centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India.
According to an official release, the proposed partnership aims to combine Adani Group’s capabilities in infrastructure, energy, logistics and data centres with Jabil’s engineering and manufacturing expertise. The collaboration is intended to build a vertically integrated ecosystem for producing AI-ready data centre hardware in the country.
The companies said they are currently working on final operational frameworks and documentation to formalise the partnership.
A key focus of the initiative will be the creation of “multi-gigawatt” manufacturing capacity for high-density AI racks and related computing infrastructure. The platform is expected to produce next-generation liquid-cooled AI racks, servers, storage systems and networking equipment for hyperscale data centres, co-location providers and enterprise customers.
The collaboration comes as demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure continues to accelerate globally, with India emerging as a key market for data centre expansion and advanced computing systems.
