L&T Bags ₹797 Crore Ammonia Plant Revamp Contract from Rashtriya Chemicals

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a contract worth approximately ₹797 crore from Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (RCF) for the revamp of an ammonia plant in India.

The project is aimed at improving the plant’s operational efficiency while reducing overall energy consumption, supporting RCF’s efforts to modernise its production infrastructure and improve cost competitiveness.

The contract is expected to involve engineering, procurement and construction-related works associated with upgrading the ammonia facility.

For L&T, the order strengthens its position in the industrial and process plant engineering segment, particularly in fertilizer, chemical and energy-intensive projects across India.
